About New Meaning Training Berkshire

Welcome to our Berkshire centre. We’re based in Reading but our work reaches out across Berkshire and the Home Counties. We opened our doors in June 2020, although some may know us by our old name, “Toolshed”.  New Meaning Training has been providing opportunities to hundreds of young people since it launched in 2015 in High Wycombe and now has centres reaching out across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. We provide further education in Berkshire for post sixteens as well as training and work experience for people with an EHCP. Our aim is to help young people to make progress with their learning and feel inspired about their future, becoming either work-ready or taking their learning journey onto the next step.

We recently had a very special visitor to our centre here in Reading. Our visitor was Stuart Andrew MP – currently Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Department for Culture, Media and Sport), and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Department for Business and Trade) (Minister for Equalities).
